How to make coffee shop-style iced coffee at home
I’ll be the first to admit that I’m slightly (majorly) obsessed with iced coffee.
I am not huge on ‘trends’ because I think if something is delicious and enjoyable, we should always do it/drink it/eat it, not just during its peak coolness (I’m looking at you, kale and cauliflower).
However, I will say that trends can be a good thing because they introduce us to new and exciting things, such as cold brew coffee.
Cold brew is definitely at its peak coolness right now, and for good reason. It’s absolutely delicious. I need YOU to help keep it in trend forever and ever, because I can’t go back. I just can’t. And I’m sure you feel the same way.
I’ve also talked about how coffee is pretty expensive if you have a barista make it for you every day (although I LOVE going to coffee shops).
So, one really cool way to get around that expense is by making cold brew coffee at home.
YES, it’s a thing.
How I mix up my favorite morning cup coconut caramel cold brew coffee at home
Personally, I like a little creaminess and a little sweetness in my coffee (I envy you purists!), so I opt for a few tablespoons of real coconut milk (the kind in the can, whisked) and just a few drips of caramel syrup.
If you like even more sweetness (and sometimes I do), I will sprinkle in a little stevia. It just depends on my mood.
That’s literally all you have to do to make an insanely good coffee, at home. YES.
Iced coffee (at home) will never go out of style. Let’s do this.
